The FIELD INTERVIEW (F.I.) feature is for keeping track of any suspicious contacts or troublemakers for future reference and or identification. The following is how this feature is used.

  1. Security Guard or Patrol Officer enters information on this screen.
  2. When submitted, an email gets automatically sent to your client.
  3. In the email there is a link to a web version of the report issued for your client to see and print.
  4. This report can always be retrieved using the search feature in the Destiny program.
  5. A new feature in the Destiny program is the ability to add notes to an existing record.
  6. When retrieving this report you will see the new note along with the date, time and who entered that information.

The "F.I.s" are used when you find suspicious people in areas where they should not be but are not doing anything illegal. Let's say one of your officers find a guy hanging around the car ports of an apartment complex and he has pliers and a screwdriver, well there is no law against that but on the other hand, he has burglary tools in his possession. So you get his information for future reference, maybe the next night a vehicle gets burglarized, now you have a suspect. This is also great for warning trespassers that they will be arrested the next time they are caught on a property.
